The Women of Ireland captivated our audience with their variety of talents, costume changes, and beautiful set. Three amazing vocalists, a traditional Irish band, step dancers' rhythmic fast moving feet, and a talented air acrobat kept the audience on
the edge of their seats, ending with a rousing standing ovation!

Not just another Irish Dance Show, Women of Ireland brings together all the most adorned elements associated with Irish & Celtic music, song and dance showcasing the next generation of Ireland's leading female performers. Lovers of Celtic music in North America are in for a special treat when the act known as Women of Ireland takes to the stage! This magnificent show toured throughout Europe, North America, Asia and Australia during the 2015-16 season, and returns to the U.S. for 2016-17!
Women of Ireland features an-all female lineup of Irish step dancers comprising long term lead dancers from Riverdance and Michael Flatley’s Lord of the Dance, along with a number of other tantalizing female dancers who excel in other dance disciplines. The show also features very special guest male dancer, the 4-time world champion and former lead dancer with Riverdance - Anthony Fallon. Alongside principal dancer Kelly McDonnell, herself a World Champion, Women of Ireland's dancers cannot be trumped on any stage world-wide.
The outstanding dance and vocal content of the show is superbly augmented with an awesome aerialist and by the vast talent of the instrumentalists within the production. Led by a fervent fiddler, the instrumental players have the ability to bring people to their feet without the need of reinforcement from dancers or vocalists, indeed the instrumental ensemble pieces provide many singular show-stopping moments within the show.
Women of Ireland showcases a select group of female artists during the North American tour in an effort to demonstrate the wealth of talent that exists within Ireland’s traditions of music, song and dance. The common theme inherent in all performances will be the presentation of the most revered qualities of Ireland’s ethnic music, which will be transported from the Irish fireside to the international concert hall platform. Special significance will be placed on depicting the pure qualities of Irish music in a contemporary setting while the performance will also include well known popular songs which will be given a stirring celtic treatment.
Between them, company members have performed for three Irish Presidents, three U.S. Presidents, the Queen of England, President of the People's Republic of China, the Empress of Japan, Prince Albert of Monaco, Aung San Suu Kyi of Burma, and graced the stages of some of the world's greatest venues including New York's Radio City Music Hall, Moscow's Kremlin State Palace, the Beijing Opera House, The Kennedy Center in Washington DC, the Sydney Opera House, Egypt's Giza Pyramids and Ireland's two 80,000 capacity venues: Croke Park and Slane Castle.
