Tom and Englebert Tribute, Starring Gene Ferrari
A native of Italy, Ferrari immigrated to America as an adult, and has captured fans throughout the country.  He sings and speaks fluently in four languages, English, Italian, French and Spanish.  Handsome and alluring, his unique style utilizes his memorable voice as the cornerstone of his appeal.  He exudes a subtle sexiness with a mere gesture of his hand, while his colorful and polished 2 ½ octave vocal range lends a masterful interpretation to his performances, from pop to standards to soft rock.  He easily develops a warm rapport with his audience because of his charisma and humor, leaving people comfortable, fascinated and totally entertained.

Gene’s classically elegant style, both in performance and in attire, begs comparison to such great romantic singers as Tom Jones and Engelbert Humperdinck.  But, even though Humperdinck was a mentor and early influence, Gene’s way of delighting audiences with the music they love, and some they are enjoying for the first time, is distinctively his own.

No wonder, then, that Gene has been the frequent opening act choice over the years of such stars as Don Rickles, Jackie Mason, Dom Deluise, Rich Little, David Bremer, Pat Cooper, Bob Hope and Joan Rivers.

He’s come a long way to the U.S. from the small Sicilian town of his birth, via Egypt, a return to Italy with refugee status, and then across the ocean.  By the time he came to America in 1972, speaking not a word of English, he had sung all over Europe, honing his skills for the American audience which has taken him to its heart.  He has since proudly become an American citizen, saying "First and foremost, I am an American."

Gene Ferrari has been described by many reviewers as “The Voice With a Heart” and is the heir apparent to the romantic singers of yesteryear.  But Ferrari has a fresh approach and style all his own, which has people of all ages gravitating back for more of his music.
