Richie Hayes has been in the entertainment world from the age of four and has appeared in all aspects of the entertainment industry including Theatre (think Aladdin and Cinderella) and Television (The Voice of Ireland and Celebrity Bainisteior), and finished as a runner-up in The Voice. Richie is that rare commodity: a talented singer and brilliant comedian. His debut single, One Voice, reached #3 in iTunes charts, and he subsequently had four top ten singles in the Irish Charts. His sensational new album, What About Me, is now on general release. He has toured America and Canada extensively, entertained on many Caribbean Cruises and spent a season in Celtic Storm – The Show, in Dublin.
Bernadette Ruddy, the girl with the golden voice and golden red hair, hails from the West of Ireland. A small village called Attymachugh at the foot of the Ox Mountains gave birth to this unique female voice that is turning heads throughout Ireland. With her rich earthy tones and touching delivery, Bernadette is the ultimate Irish female ballad singer of today; truly an Ambassador of Song for Ireland. Pete St. John, one of Ireland’s most beloved songwriters (composer of such blockbusters as The Fields of Athenry and Dublin in the Rare Old Times), recognized Bernadette’s incredible talent, wrote a song especially for her, and which she then recorded:
A Song for Mayo.
