Disco began in the 1970’s and triggered a night club craze which dominated fashion and dance for nearly a decade, coining the phrase “the Disco Era.” When Saturday Night Fever hit the movie screen in 1977, disco spread like wildfire and discotheques popped up all over the world. This world-wide phenomenon set the stage for artists such as the BeeGees, KC & The Sunshine Band, Donna Summer, Gloria Gaynor, The Trammps, and Tavares, to dominate the music scene.
Disco Unlimited has recreated that music craze which has once again become wildly popular. Disco Unlimited, known to many as DU, has performed with many of the disco artists who are reviving the Disco music scene. Performing with such artists as Tavares, The Trammps, France Joli, Bonnie Pointer, Peaches and Herb, Harold Melvin's Blue Notes, Disco Unlimited has become the fastest growing show in the Tri-State Area.
Disco Unlimited audiences are delighting in the reminiscence, leaving their seats and moving to the high energy performances filled with bright lights, colorful costumes and dynamite vocals. Through the disco genre of Disco Unlimited, people have a chance to dress up and dance to the great songs of their youth, Hustling through a night of magic!
